I love it! The song that is. I've run less than 20 miles on asphalt in the last 18 months & hate the heat, so the race may not be for me, but I love the boogie song. Will be in my head for days now, I'm sure. Thanks!
Thanks Rick. I always hated the heat and never ran more than 10 miles in the summer until about 5 years ago. I never thought the Boogie would be something I'd like but once I did I found it to be something special
This is a masterful tribute to an incredible event. Thanks so much for sharing! It makes me regret I didn't sign us up for the marathon this year-- having done it three (or four?) years in a row-- but I'm on hospice care for a 15-year-old angel-dog, one who was born into my hands in 1994. The fading old-timers (three littermates, only one feeble one remaining at this point) have kept us from every MTC race this year, heck, every race this year, but we will be back, and your wonderful tribute reminds me why!
